Our client needed to relocate a high throughput beverage quality assurance laboratory without disrupting business continuity. Their analytical chemistry lab was moving to an unconventional high-rise building location.
Cheme partnered with the client to fully assess existing lab processes, identify opportunities for modernization, and put together an operational plan. This plan included successfully moving lab instruments in a phased approach to maintain business operations in parallel across two sites.
Additionally, Cheme worked with the client to design programming to support capacity requirements. We identified and reduced bottlenecks, while also improving material and personnel flows. Cheme selected new lab equipment, designed modified lab processes to improve throughput, and designed lab critical utility systems. These changes included medical gases and deionized water to meet the unique demands of the new high rise building location.
