Allan is a licensed engineer with over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Over his career Allan has worked at every stage of a project – from initial conception to taking the project into cGMP operation.
He has worked with manufacturers, CDMOs, equipment fabricators, and as a consultant to all sizes of companies within the pharma and biotech sphere. He has completed full scope, multi-year projects from initial concept to full cGMP operation of processing facility for both drug substance and drug product manufacturing.
He is able to effectively apply the scientific and risk-based approach to product development to accelerate product licensure timelines.
Allan has a strong focus on efficiency in GMP operations, with significant contributions to the global licensure of more than 10 different products and significant experience with global regulatory agencies from front-line site audits, pre-clinical meetings, through to facility expansion and modification meetings.
Allan is always looking for a solution that works on the manufacturing floor that also meets the quality and regulatory requirements.
