Chris is a Principal and the Regional East Studio Head at Cheme Engineering and has been with the company for 10 years. Since becoming a shareholder in 2017, he has been a key contributor to the growth, management and success of the organization. He is responsible for Cheme’s Client Technical Services, while also providing leadership, supporting company growth and direction of the engineering practice. Chris is focused on the management and development of Cheme’s core technical services while also leading teams in project execution.
Chris has extensive front line engineering experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, having worked on projects of various scale, both greenfield and brownfield. He has held multiple lead roles, most recently the Clean & Support Utilities Engineering Lead for a large scale Multi Vaccine Bulk Manufacturing Facility. Chris has also spent time working internationally in the USA, on a vaccine Formulation and Filling facility project where he supported the startup and commissioning of the facility, utilities and equipment systems.
Chris’ mission is to help grow and build Cheme into an industry leader in engineering, construction, and project management. Chris earned a Bachelor of Nano-Materials Engineering degree from McMaster University, and is a registered Professional Engineer with the Professional Engineers of Ontario.
